We need warm weather!

The project has pretty much been stalled until we get 2-3 days of 45 degree weather with NO precipitation (i.e.-snow, rain, sleet). So pray, meditate, do a non-snow or rain dance to keep the precip away and allow the sun to come and warm the earth!

They are waiting for this kind of weather so they may shingle the roof. Until that is done they cannot insulate and sheetrock, etc the interior of the building. The windows should be installed soon though but that is about all until we get a warm period.

Yes, you heard right and the picture proves it! We are getting close to having a roof! The crew is tired of shoveling snow out the doors!

Snow has arrived, the project has slowed

Hi All-

I am sure you are wondering where the new pictures are! Well the last couple weeks and the lake effect snow has slowed things a bit. Until yesterday not much has happened due to the snow. We do have steel columns being put in place now and walls to be erected hopefully next week!

Despite the snow, window trim, doors, and siding colors are being looked at as well as shingle color and downspouts, etc. Soon interior colors will be chosen, things are moving along, just not obvious to a passerby's eye.

WE HAVE A FLOOR!!!!

Today was an exciting day at the library as they poured the slab for the floor! Check out the slideshow pics of this exciting event! :-)

We got a footprint!!!

If you haven't been following the slideshow to the right, you should! You can see the almost daily pictures of the project there and we now know what shape the building will look like!

They are hoping to pour the concrete slab any day now, weather permitting of course! Watch for new pics of that to come soon!
